The Brighamia insignis, better known as the 'Hawaii Palm', is a true tropical gem. This rare plant owes its name to the place it originally grew: the enchanting islands of Hawaii. Sadly it has almost disappeared in the wild and now only grows in a few unspoilt areas.
What makes the Hawaii Palm so special is that, unlike most plants, it does its growing in winter. That's why it's important to place it close to a window during the colder months, so it catches enough daylight to stay healthy and strong.

The Hawaii Palm isn't actually a real palm, but a succulent with a striking, thick trunk in which it stores water. It's easy to care for and fits perfectly in a sunny living room or a bright workspace. Dusting the leaves regularly keeps them healthy. Please note: this plant isn't hardy and is a true houseplant for indoors.
