What does the MPS label mean?

MPS (Milieu Programma Sierteelt) is an internationally recognised certification scheme for the ornamental horticulture sector. The label helps growers make their growing processes more sustainable and report transparently on their environmental performance.

To achieve MPS certification, growers record their use of, among other things:

  • energy

  • water

  • fertilisers

  • crop protection products

  • waste streams

This data is checked regularly by an independent organisation. Based on these measurements, a grower receives a classification that shows how sustainably they work.

The MPS label shows that plants are grown in an environmentally conscious way.

 

GLOBALG.A.P. certification

Our nursery is also GLOBALG.A.P. certified. GLOBALG.A.P. is a globally recognised standard for good agricultural practice and safe production.
