Care & tips for the Yucca Rostrata - 150cm

The Yucca is a sun worshipper that needs very little water. In winter, the Yucca Rostrata can be sensitive to damp. Make sure the pot drains well and shield the plant from excess moisture through the wet months to prevent rot.

How much water does the Yucca Rostrata - 150cm need?

The Yucca Rostrata originally comes from dry regions, so it doesn't like too much water. It's a slow grower and needs very little. Do check the soil weekly and make sure it never dries out completely.

How much light does the Yucca Rostrata - 150cm need?

The Yucca Rostrata loves full sun and shouldn't be moved too often. It's hardy, but we'd still recommend protecting it against temperatures below -20°C, with a tree cover or plastic sheeting for example.

Is the Yucca Rostrata - 150cm toxic?

Eating the plant is mildly toxic, so do take care. The stems and trunk are fairly sharp, too.

How is my Yucca Rostrata - 150cm shipped?

This outdoor plant is delivered in a nursery pot. All our plants are shipped in boxes we designed ourselves: a snug inner fitting keeps the plant firmly in place so it can't shift in transit. Plants don't mind a day in a dark box, so your green friend arrives home in perfect condition.
